Dylan in Woodstock: Photography by Elliott Landy

Nashville Skyline, copyright: LandyVision, INC.

Most of us are familiar with world renowned photographer Elliott Landy's famous cover shot of Bob Dylan which appeared on his 1969 "Nashville Skyline" album but few, if any of us, have ever had the opportunity to view the private side of the man who defined a generation with his music.

Landy's Dylan in Woodstock exhibition provides a rare, inside look at the softer side of Dylan—a family man who enjoyed a quiet rural life, who played with his children, clowned on a trampoline, took out the garbage and laughed a lot. Most of the images on display were taken during the late 1960's in or around Bob Dylan's homestead in Woodstock, New York and feature unique glimpses of his family and friends, a Saturday Evening Post cover photo session and image defining pictures of "The Band," (Dylan's former backup group) as they began their own rise to fame
within the 60's music culture. For more about the photographer visit his web site at www.landyvision.com

Funds for the Dylan in Woodstock exhibit were provided in part by the Wisconsin Arts Board and the Peninsula Arts Association.
