Tim works to enhance listening and effective planning. He is responsible for long-range planning, financial oversight, staff supervision and the everyday demands of Fairfield Center. He regularly facilitates public and private forums in the community. He has more than twenty years of experience mediating and facilitating a wide variety of circumstances (1,600+) involving family, business/organization, government, and community-wide situations. He is an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Advisor with FEMA, a mediator for the USPS REDRESS Program, and is certified by the Supreme Court of Virginia as a mentor mediator and trainer. He has taught ADR courses for James Madison University, Eastern Mennonite University (EMU), and Washington and Lee University School of Law. Tim earned his master’s degree in Conflict Transformation from EMU and is an Advanced Practitioner Member of the Association for Conflict Resolution.
